Purpose: If you want to run a web server from your windows machine, this is the way to go. It completely handles the installation and setup for you (including amongst other things Apache web server, PHP module and MySQL database support).
Warning: This opens many security holes in your computer. Unless the computer in question is properly protected or offline, and you know what you're doing, you should think twice before running a web server.

Purpose: Googlebar's main advantage for me is it blocks most popups. In addition, it provides quick access to google's search function, and has a function that highlights the search terms on the current page (can also be used without searching). Contrary to my expectations, Googlebar's been quite helpful in day-to-day browsing.

Purpose: My favorite music player. Easy to use, lots of options, now plays video as well. However, my favorite video player is still BSPlayer, and if I want visualisations for songs I still prefer using Windows Media Player (despite Winamps abundant selection of visualisations).

Purpose: Again, only use if you know what you're doing. The only powertoy I use is Tweak UI, which allows you to edit numerous things. For example, it allows you to automatically log-on with a particular user account (only useful if you're the only user). Very useful, very fun.

Purpose: Hands down the best compression (and decompression) software on the market. While it supports regular zip files as well as numerous other formats, it's biggest feature is its own rar format which gives way for compression rates far surpassing the zip format.
